bought this as a gift
This thing is very cool. As an adult I may have been more interested in it than the 3-year olds, but it's fun. And not getting marker or paint on any other surfaces is a big plus!
Good fun, but sprayer needs frequent refills.
We just bought this today for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She loves it. She has the original aqua doodle as well. We purchased this one because of the colors and the sprayer marker which looked fun. It is for my daughter but not for us. It runs out of water very quickly and needs refilling. It also can become a little frustrating for my daughter because all she likes to do is spray with it and the frequent refills interrupt her playing time. The plus side is that is does not make a permanent mess anywhere and it can be used over and over again.
Lots of fun for toddlers
This was a gift for my 3.5yr old. She tries very hard to keep up with her older siblings, so I am pleased the she enjoys the aquadoodle. Undortunately she did discover if she dumped a glass of water on it, the whole thing changes colors, so that became her main goal for a while.
Big hit with my three year old daughter
Bought this for my 3 yr old daughter for Christmas. She really enjoys playing with it. Overall I'd say it's a great toy. The only down side is that when she uses it as a sprayer the water needs to be refilled often. Great for toddlers.
2 year olds love this....
I have a 2 y/o niece who wants to do everything my 8 y/o daughter does. It's a little frustrating for the baby to color w/ crayons but we've noticed she is very passionate about it. I bought her the aqua doodle for Christmas, and SHE LOVES IT!!! She is amazed with the colors, and shapes that she can create, and it's so easy to use!! NO MESS! YEA FOR MOMMY!!! I would recommend this for any child under 5. My 8y/o wasn't really interested in it. The one I ordered was larger than I thought it would be...another unexpected plus. Great buy, you won't be disappointed, neither will your little one(s)...Happy Doodling!!!

My daughter and her friends love this and they are 4 and 5, even the older kids like this (8). The only thing I wish is that the water pin lasted longer before you have to and more water. I give it an A.
Great toy!
My 5 year old girls received this product as a birthday gift from their Nanna and they love it! They've spent hours coloring and practicing drawing the doodles they show. I can't believe we never had one before! I would definitely recommend one of these for any kid, even my 10 year old and myself have fun with it!
Coloring for toddlers
My daughter loves to play with her aquadoodle. The rainbow mat is a little large for her table(but great for the floor), so we got a travel mat for there (so she can "color" while my husband and I finish eating). I would like the pens to have a better tip where the water comes out. My daughter likes to chew on the pen tip(on the first use) and that makes the water run out a little to fast. I know that the pen was not designed for chewing on, but I would think that this would be something that the designers would take into account when made for toddlers. It great for learning to hold a pen/pencil/crayon and not making a mess all over the place.
Great No-Mess Drawing Tool!
This is awesome! My son is 4 1/2 and I never knew he could draw until he got this. Because of the examples on the sides, he was able to copy the pictures and actually draw something besides lines! I was very impressed. Plus, the best part - there is no mess! He can draw anywhere in the house and there is no worry of ink ending up on the walls, floors or furniture.
